Final Harrier Rankings Preview State Meet

The final high school cross country rankings of the 2011 season, released yesterday, serve to preview the top teams and individuals heading to Northfield on Saturday for the MSHSL State Cross Country Meet.

The Stillwater boys and Monticello girls continue their season-long lordship over the Class AA polls, while St. Cloud Cathedral tops the Class A rankings for both genders.

Individually, Josh Thorson of Wayzata and two-time Class AA champ Maria Hauger of Shakopee remain the top-ranked individuals in Class AA, while Blake's Brandon Clark and Clare Flanagan topping the Class A rankings.
